Howdy! Chef Alli Here. Let’s Get You Cookin’….Shall We? ?
We love “all things meat” in this household. That’s usually the first thing my boys ask about when they begin thinking about dinner time – “What meat are we having for supper tonight, Mom?”.
Of course, since we raise cattle, our first choice of meat is usually beef, but we are also fans of pork, and sometimes I do make chicken, though my husband gives me a hard time about it.
I love to make Easy Korean Beef Bulgogi (a great recipe using chuck roast) and French Dip Beef Sandwiches (made from a nice lean eye of round roast).
On weekends, I cooking beef or pork in my Instant Pot (or my Cuisinart Electric Pressure Cooker) is a must so I can start the work week off with cooked meat in my fridge.
That way, I can make quick week night meals where I incorporate the cooked meat – such as mac and cheese, quesadillas, wraps, grilled sandwiches, or salads.
A tender and juicy pork butt roast makes the most delicious pulled pork, and pulled pork makes fast and easy Air Fryer Pork Nachos and Loaded BBQ Pulled-Pork Sweet Potatoes.
Instant Pot Big Bold Beef Carnitas is a meat dish that my family enjoys as a savory week-night meal. There’s usually some of the shredded beef leftover, so it’s quick and easy to make quesadillas or even enchiladas.

Which Air Fryer Do You Need to Make Steak Bites?
We really, really like our Cuisinart air fryer. We’ve had it for over 2 years and because we use it so often, I feel really good about the prime real estate is requires on my cabinet.
I had no idea we would use our air fryer so much. Because my family is so busy (just as every family in America is) we often have to eat in shifts.
This makes the air fryer ideal since you can easily reheat leftovers in a flash and the air fryer makes everything nice and crispy again – we love it, especially for reheating PIZZA. Yowza….you won’t believe it.
Recipe Tips for Making Easy Air Fryer Steak Bites –
- Be sure to place the bag of marinade and steak into a bowl before placing it into the fridge. If there are any leaks, they are contained in the bowl instead of all over your fridge.
- Place the bowl containing the bag of marinade and steak onto the lowest rack of the fridge. This way there’s no cross-contamination of bacteria from raw food (steak and juices) to other foods in the fridge.
- When cooking the steak bites, leave space around each piece of steak so the heat from the air fryer can really circulate and give it good browning all the way around.
- Crowding the meat together doesn’t allow the heat to circulate properly, causing the meat to steam instead of air fry. Steaming meat never allows for good caramelization and the meat turns gray in color. It’s still absolutely edible, just not as appetizing to look at.
How to Make Marinated Steak Bites in 5 Easy Steps

- Massage the marinade to combine all the ingredients, moving the steak around in the marinade as you go. Place the bag of meat and marinade into a bowl and place it into the fridge to marinate for at least 30 minutes but preferably overnight.
- Remove the steak bites from the marinade, spreading them out over the air fryer rack so that they aren’t touching each other; you may need to cook in batches, depending on how big your air fryer and the rack is.
- Air fry the steak at 350 degrees F. for 2-3 minutes per side, depending on how you prefer your steak to be cooked. (We do about 2 minutes per side since we prefer medium rare steak.)
