1 pinch granulated sugar

1/2 cup butter
Instructions
Cover the bottom of the Instant Pot with water (approx. 1 cup depending on the size of your pot), then add a good pinch of granulated sugar.
1 pinch granulated sugar, water just enough to cover the bottom of your Instant Pot (or any electric pressure cooker)
Place a trivet (either metal or silicone) into the bottom of the Instant Pot, then stand or lay the ears of corn on top of the trivet. (I usually stand my ears up, letting them lean on each other.)
8 ears sweet corn, husked and silks removed
Lock the Instant Pot lid into place, then use the manual button, choosing High Pressure setting for 2 minutes, bringing the Instant Pot to full pressure. When the timer sounds, perform a quick release to remove all pressure from the Instant Pot.
Carefully unlock the Instant Pot lid and remove it. Use tongs to remove the hot, cooked sweet corn from the pot. Slather the ears of corn with butter, then season to taste with salt and pepper. Enjoy at once!
1/2 cup butter
Notes
A 6-quart Instant Pot can typically hold 7-8 ears of sweet corn, depending on the size of the ears. If you fill your Instant Pot full of corn and it won't pressurize, this usually means you've got 1 too many ears of corn in your pot! Also, once you've cooked your corn on the cob in the Instant Pot, you can switch it to warm, covering the pot with the lid. This will keep your corn on the cob nice and toasty until the rest of the meal is ready to serve. www.ChefAlli.com
