Ingredients
Cinnamon Rolls
1pkg.King's Hawaiian Rolls, original 12 count
1/2 cupbuttersoftened
1/2cupdark brown sugar
2tsp.cinnamon
Icing
3/4 cuppowdered sugar
2Tbs. buttermelted
1/8tsp.kosher salt
1-2Tbs.milk
1/2tsp.vanilla extract
Instructions
Make the Cinnamon Rolls
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Slice the sheet of Hawaiian rolls in half, removing the top sheet from the bottom.
Place the bottom half of the Hawaiian rolls into a greased 9x13 pan.
Spread 1/4 cup of the softened butter over the bottom half of the Hawaiian rolls in the pan.
In a bowl, combine the brown sugar with the cinnamon; sprinkle 2/3 of this mixture over the buttered rolls in the pan.
Place the top sheet of Hawaiian rolls over the butter and brown sugar mixture.
Spread the remaining 1/4 cup of the softened butter over the tops of the Hawaiian rolls; sprinkle the remaining brown sugar mixture over the top.
Bake the cinnamon rolls, uncovered, for 15 minutes, or until nicely hot throughout and bubbly on top.
Make the Icing
Make the icing by combining the powdered sugar with the melted butter. salt, and vanilla, adding as much milk as needed, a little at a time, until the icing reaches the consistency desired.
To easily drizzle the icing over the warm cinnamon rolls, heat the icing in the microwave for a few seconds, then slowly pour it over the top.
Serve the Cinnamon Rolls
Serve the cinnamon rolls while fresh from the oven. Delicious with coffee or a cold glass of milk!
