This fun recipe is a nice twist on the classic using pulled pork instead of chili, crunchy Fritos corn chips (right in the bag, of course!), and a heaping of fresh ingredients. Mmmm… reminds me of the County Fair! You know what else reminds me of the County Fair? 4-H!
Walking Tacos
On this July 2015 segment of WIBW 13 This Morning, we met with the Russel family from Berryton. They are all involved in 4-H and could not stop touting the benefits of participating in this national program. 4-H offers tons of opportunities to practice life skills like public speaking, record keeping, responsibility, completing projects, and so much more! And despite popular belief, it’s open to anyone- city folks or country folks!

WALKING TACOS

1 snack sized bag of Fritos or Doritos
⅓ cup fully cooked Spiced and Slathered Pulled Pork, warmed
 
Optional Toppings:
shredded cheddar or Colby Jack cheese
shredded lettuce
chopped fresh cilantro
sour cream or Greek yogurt
salsa
chopped black olives
chopped avocados
guacamole
barbecue sauce
hot sauce
 
Directions:
Slice open the bag of corn chips along the SIDE.
Slightly crush the bag to break up the corn chips a little bit.
Pile the pulled pork into the bag on top of the corn chips, then add as many toppings as you’d like.
Eat at once!
