Ingredients
5Oreo Cookies – I used Double Stuff for extra creaminess, but original Oreos work fine, too
1/4cupmilk
1Tbs.granulated sugar
1Tbs.all-purpose flour
1Tbs.unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2tspbaking powder
1/4tspkosher salt
crushed oreos as a topping
Whipped Cream and crushed Oreos, for garnish
Instructions
Use your fingers to roughly crumble four Oreo cookies into a mug. Set the fifth Oreo cookie aside.
Pour the milk into the mug over the cookies. Using a fork, mash the cookies until well blended with the milk, letting them fully dissolve into the milk.
In a bowl, combine the sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; add to the Oreo mixture in the mug, gently stirring until all the ingredients are incorporated.
Place the fifth Oreo cookie into the mug (whole), pushing it down into the cake batter just until it’s fully covered.
Microwave the mug cake for one minute. Remove the mug from the microwave allowing the mug cake to rest for 10 minutes. Garnish as desired and serve at once while still warm.

RECIPE TIPS
Mug cakes are meant to be enjoyed while they are still warm. However, when a mug cake comes out of the microwave, it is PIPING hot so do take care and let it cool for at least a minute or so.Don’t overcook your mug cake. When you remove it from the microwave, it may look a bit doughy on top, but it will continue to cook a bit after it comes out. You may have to adjust the cooking time a bit to get it just right, depending on how your microwave cooks. An 12 ounce mug works perfectly for making this mug cake recipe. Your mug should be about one-third full (and never more than half full of mug cake batter) when you get ready to cook it in the microwave. Once the mug cake is fully cooked, it will fill the mug by about two-thirds.
