115 oz.can of your favorite fruit, such as sliced mangos, mandarin oranges, sliced peaches, chunk pineapple, undrained
Instructions
Pour the can of fruit and it's juices into a freezer-safe container. Leave at least 1-inch of head-space at the top since the fruit/juices will expand as they freeze.
Once the fruit is frozen solid and you are ready to prepare the sorbet, remove the frozen fruit from the freezer, placing it on the counter at room temperature. Remove the lid and let the fruit rest for 10 minutes or until slightly softened.
Using a wooden spoon or ice pick, break the fruit up a bit, then place it into the bowl of a food processor; lock the lid into place. Pulse the food processor until the fruit turns into a smooth sorbet. **If needed, add a bit of water or juice to the frozen fruit to make it a bit easier to process.
Serve at once, topped with your favorite berries and/or toasted coconut.Store any remaining sorbet in the freezer to enjoy later.
