Spicy-Sweet Hawaiian Cheese Ball with Ginger Snaps

Round out the sweet end of your game day spread with this sweet and spicy cheese ball!

  • 2 8 oz. pkgs. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 8 oz. can crushed pineapple, well drained
  • 1-2 jalapenos, seeds and membranes removed, finely minced
  • ½ cup finely minced red bell pepper
  • 3 Tbs. finely chopped green onion, green parts only
  • 2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 2 cups toasted, chopped pecans, divided use
  • Ginger snaps or your favorite crackers



  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients with 1 cup of the pecans. Shape into a nice, fat ball.
  2. Place the remaining 1 cup of pecans onto a platter and roll the cheese ball in the pecans, covering well on all sides.
  3. Refrigerate cheese ball until ready to serve. Delicious served with ginger snaps.
