Instructions
Brush the flour tortilla triangles with oil on both sides, then place the tortilla chips across the bottom of the basket of the air fryer in a single layer.
Bake the tortilla chips at 350 degrees F. for 2-3 minutes, turning half way through the baking time, until the chips are golden brown and crispy.
When the chips are done, top them with the beans, pork, and cheese queso, as desired; bake the nachos in the air fryer for 4-5 minutes or until they reach the preferred doneness.
Top the nachos with your favorite toppings and serve at once.
Notes
When making the tortilla chips in the air fryer, make sure they are in a single layer and not touching so they can get crispy and golden brown on both sides.
You can use any cooked and shredded (or chopped) meat to make these nachos – pork, chicken, beef, etc.
These nachos are delicious with or without the cheese queso as an ingredient.
If you don’t want to take the time to make the baked chips from the flour tortillas, you can use bagged tortilla chips instead.
The flour tortillas make great baked chips for nachos because they are stronger than fried chips, so it makes the nachos easier to lift and eat.
