This amazing combination of flavors roasted together creates the delicious Sheet Pan Sausage, Apple, and Rosemary Dinner. And while it looks like a meal that’s been slow-roasting for hours, in just about 30 minutes you have a beautiful comfort-food dinner ready for any occasion.
8pork sausages, such as Johnsonville Italian Pork Sausages (these are raw sausages, not pre-cooked)
3Granny Smith apples, cored and sliced, peeling is optional
1 1/2lb.small red potatoes
1/2lb.baby carrots
1large red onion, cut into wedges
2Tbs.fresh sage leaves, chopped
4fresh rosemary sprigs
1/4C.honey
3Tbs.olive oil
salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
To your sheet pan, add the apples, potatoes, carrots, onions, and sage. Drizzle the honey and olive oil evenly out over top of them all. Season the veggies with salt and pepper, to taste.
Using two silicone spoonulas, carefully toss everything together, until the veggies are evenly coated, then spread everything out evenly over the sheet pan.
Make little troughs for the sausages and place them inside. Bake, uncovered, at 400 degrees F. for 30 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
Let the sheet pan dinner rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.
