And, you don't need a super fancy waffle iron, either - I think mine came from a garage sale and it's super basic, but it works great since I don't make waffles that often. I love how easy this recipe is to throw together! Simply pop open a can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls, cut into quarters and "smush" them a bit before cooking in your waffle maker.  Lastly, top them with all kinds of wonderful, and you have the makings of a national treasure.
