Berry Banana Jar Trifles

These jar trifles just make my soul happy somehow….yes, it’s kindaweird. When I create them for my guests, I continually find myself gazing into the fridge, admiring the fat little jars layered to the very brim….so dang pretty! The only thing better than admiring them? Digging in.

1 box vanilla instant pudding, 3.4 oz.
1 cup sour cream
½ cup cold milk
12 oz. frozen whipped topping, thawed
assorted berries, as desired
finely minced pecans, for crunch
sliced bananas
Glass canning jars (we used short, squatty 1-pint jars that would easily serve two people)

In a large mixing bowl, using an electric mixer, combine pudding with sour cream.  Adding milk a little at a time, beat until all milk is added and mixture is thick and smooth; beat in whipped topping.

Layer pudding, berries, bananas, and pecans into jars as desired, filling to the top.  Garnish with additional fruit and place into the fridge to chill.  Once fully chilled, serve as desired.
