Local farmer’s markets are heating up, and on any give Saturday you can find farm fresh produce available all over the country! But for Northeast Kansans, it’s possible that you’ve heard one name stand out for almost 70 years- Britt’s Farm.
Started on their porch in 1948, the Britt’s have made growing and selling fresh vegetables and produce their family business through three (actually four!) generations. From humble beginnings they have now grown to selling in farmer’s markets and farm stands throughout the region, they boast their own pumpkin patch and pick your own farm, and their fresh produce is available in local grocery stores!
After you stop in at the local farmer’s market (or in your own garden!) try this easy recipe for Low-Carb Skillet-Baked Lasagna Roll-ups!!! Mmm….
