One ham + 2 ingredients and an electric pressure cooker = one big #SCORE at your next holiday dinner!
Electric Pressure Cooker Glazed Maple and Orange Ham
1 – half ham, fully cooked, 7-8 lbs.
12 oz. jar orange marmalade
8 oz. pure maple syrup
Warm marmalade and syrup in a small saucepan over low heat; keep warm.
Remove all packaging material from ham, discarding glaze packet.
Place wire trivet in the bottom of 10-12 quart electric pressure cooker (EPC); add 1 cup water or juice to the pot.
Place ham onto trivet and lock EPC lid into place; choose High Pressure setting for 20 minutes.
When timer sounds, use a natural pressure release for 15 minutes, then a quick release to remove any remaining pressure from the EPC.
Preheat oven to 425-450 degrees F. Remove ham from pot and place on it’s side into a large roasting pan or onto rimmed baking sheet. Slather reserved marmalade mixture over ham, letting it slip into all the nooks and crannies. Place ham, uncovered, into oven; bake 10-15 minutes until ham is caramelized and bubbly all over.
To serve, slice ham and serve with pan drippings drizzled over the top.
