5 Ingredient Apple Butter Pecan Pie

I love having this recipe in my back pocket when I’ve got to create something yummy in a flash. I find great comfort in keeping an Elsie Grace pie crust mix and a jar or two of Grandmas Hoerner’s Pie Fillings (apple, cherry, maple pumpkin, or pecan) on hand at all times. #lifesavers

5 Ingredient Apple Butter Pecan Pie

1 Elsie Grace Pie Crust Mix, made according to package directions
1 jar Grandma Hoerner’s Apple Pie Filling
1/2 package Butter Pecan Box Cake Mix, dry
1/3 cup chopped pecans
1/3- 1/2 cup melted unsalted butter

Put prepared pie crust dough into an 8-9 inch pie plate, crimping pie dough around edge of pie plate in a decorative pattern. Pour filling into prepared crust, then sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over filling; top with pecans, then drizzle butter over all. Bake at 375 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or until crust is golden brown and filling is set at the center. Let cool before cutting.
