Train the Trainer: Food Science WorkshopThe Food conversation is an important one that is often misunderstood. Where our food comes from, how it is produced, what it contains. Consumers care about all of this, but often don’t have access to the best information. That’s why I’m looking forward to working with Kansas Farm Bureau and Kansas State University’s Dr. Dan Thompson to offer a Food Science Education Workshop: Train the Trainer. Train the Trainer is designed to equip educators and community leaders to take Food Science education back to their communities and classrooms. Together, we can widen the conversation about food!

The presentation will cover many hot topics in Food Science and Food Production, attendees will be equipped to replicate the workshop back in their own communities and classrooms, and each attendee will create and take home freezer meals to share with their families (recipes and instruction courtesy of YOURS TRULY).
